Running Out of Time was created as part of a series of self-promotional linocut posters for my degree show at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee.
The print is a multi-layer reduction design that draws on graphic iconography connected to my life at the time - suits and ties, pocket watches and the idea of global travel. These elements came together to create a bold visual narrative reflecting ambition, movement and the pressure of time.
The series proved to be a great success and played an important role in inspiring me to continue exploring the creative possibilities of lino printmaking.
